The Rio on Pools is located 15 miles off the Western Highway from the Santa Elena Town in the Mountain Pine Ridge and is surrounded by 300 square miles of Caribbean Pine and forest reserve. Big Rock Falls is a hidden gem located in the Mountain Pine Ridge Reserve flowing over the Privassion Creek. It is a large cenote surrounded by big rocks and a small pool at the bottom. It takes about 1 ½ hr from San Ignacio Town to the 150 FT waterfall. Upon reaching, there is a trail of about 300 yards and 130 FT down to meet the valley. You will be welcomed by the roar of the cascading waterfall and cool mist and captivated by this secret paradise natural beauty.

We end the day touring the hidden gem, Big Rock Falls which is famous for its captivating beauty of 150 FT waterfall located on the Privassion Creek.
